  1. Philippine Trains

I was very happy to learn about the news that the new PNR trains started operations.

Just some 2 or 3 years ago, I told myself, “my dream will not happen in my lifetime”.
You see, I’ve dreamed of our country having a train system running up to Aparri, Cagayan in the north, down to Matnog, Sorsogon in the south. Libre naman mangarap..
Although, I know that the squatters living “along da riles” will be a tough challenge for this to happen. And no private corporation will ever take such project unless the squatters were taken out of the equation.

I’ve heard about Government plans related to our train system. But if you are aged 42 like me, you’ll probably be as skeptical as I am when you hear that from the government. However, I noticed on my way to work (from Sta. Rosa, Laguna to Makati) that the squatters were slowly being relocated. Hmmm… Yet I was still skeptical… until this recent development.

It came a bit of a surprise to me, but I must admit it made me very happy=)! As soon as that Alabang station gets operational, I will try this train ride going home.

Thank you for posting this update in your site.

    More power and God bless!
